Membership Policies

Below are our current set of membership policies. If you have any questions regarding any of these policies please get in touch with the front desk at Hi@HudsonRiverCrossFit.com.

Signing In

  • Sign in at the kiosk before class.

  • Early is on time and on time is late. Try to arrive 5-10 minutes before class starts.

  • Please note that we have a 5-minute grace period for class attendance. Any member arriving over 5 minutes late will only be permitted at the coach's discretion.

Retail

  • To purchase retail print your name legibly on on the “Hudson River CrossFit” retail sheet, let us know the product you took, the quantity, and then give us your signature. We will bill your card on file in 24-48 hours.

  • Prices for all retail items can found on the “Hudson River CrossFit retail price list” which can be found on the front of the Kettlebell Kitchen refrigerator

Cubbies and Lockers

  • Cubbies are for daily use only

  • HRCF will clean out the cubbies at the end of each day and place all the items in our lost and found

  • If you’d like to leave your oly shoes, knee sleeves, supplements etc. at the Riv overnight, small lockers are available to rent at a rate of $25 per year. This includes the use of a lock

Account Holds

  • HRCF will honor membership holds/suspensions of two weeks or more, provided the staff is notified at least 3 days in advance.

  • Periods of suspension will extend the member’s current billing cycle by the total number of days absent, resulting in no financial loss for planned timed away.

  • Memberships can be placed on hold for up to one month. The membership will automatically be reinstated after that unless the member contacts us within 3 days of the next billing cycle.

Refunds/Cancellations

  • Members looking to cancel at the end of their upcoming bill must notify HRCF at least 3 days prior the bill due date.  

  • We do request that you provide a reason for cancellation for our tracking purposes.

  • HRCF will not provide refunds retroactively for any cancellation requests.

Dogs and Kids

  • Kids need to be able to sit in the lounge area unattended, which means they are not a distraction to others, and are not a danger to themselves or others.

  • Kids should not be in the way of group class (i.e., when a class is running in and out of the gym).

  • The Front Desk staff is not responsible for your kids.

  • While we love dogs, we don’t have enough space to accommodate them here. So please leave your four legged friends at home.

  • No strollers or babies on the gym floor at any time. Our liability policy is good, but not that good.

  • Please avoid bringing strollers during our peak hours of 5am-8am and 6pm-9pm.

  • Coaches reserve the right to ask parents to remove a disruptive child from the gym

Cleanliness

  • Please wear clean clothes to the gym

  • Please wear deodorant

Open Gym during class hours

  • Please do not use the floor space for supplemental work during class time. You’re welcome to use the outdoor space and any equipment in the backyard for supplemental work from the hours of 6am-9pm.

    • No walking through class to get plates, kbs, etc to bring to the outdoor space, grab what you need before class

Open Gym hours for members without a keycard

M-F - 8:15am - 9:15am

M-F - 1:15pm - 4:00pm

Sunday - 10:30am - 1pm

Key Card Membership Hours

24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as long as class isn’t in session

Key Card Fees

Key cards are available to all Hudson River CrossFit members. There is a $36 one time setup fee and ongoing monthly maintenance fee of $9.

  • Members looking to cancel their key cards at the end of their upcoming bill must notify HRCF at least 3 days prior the bill due date

Key Cards Rules

  • Your card belongs to you, and you alone. Bringing friends or non key card members will result in losing key card privileges

  • Don't ask coaches to bring others

  • Follow the Opening/Closing procedures provided to you when you activated your keycard

  • Sign into Zen Planner

  • Be SAFE... (ex. don't try to PR a bench press without someone to spot you)

  • Open gym is not during class

  • Clean up any chalk/sweat/blood mess. This includes wiping any equipment or handprints on the ground

  • If you use a whiteboard (small or large) wipe it down when you are finished

    • Remember to use the whiteboard spray, not the disinfectant spray

  • Put any and all equipment used back in the proper place
